	Spelling City - Type your own list in (or sign in with your teacher's information) and practice and play games! Turn on your sound!

	Kids' Lab Context Clues - Great tutorial and practice for reading for meaning of vocabulary in context. Includes both direct definition and inferential context clues.
	Stapleless Book - Create a book from the Read-Write-Think site.
	Instant Poetry Forms - Choose your poetry form from the list of links provided. Then just add words to make the poem your own.
	CNN stories - Read current news stories and answer questions related to vocabulary in context, comprehension, drawing conclusions. Excellent!
	Book Report Sandwich Station - Build a book report sandwich and print it out!
	Power Proofreading - An interactive site with several stories to practice proofreading skills, broken down by skill area.

Science	Exploring Nature - Fantastic Database with great illustrations and some videos of animals, plants, etc.! Type in "Auburn" for the username, and 1234 for the password.
	Nutrition Nutrition Explorations - Very fun interactive activity for studying nutrition! My Pyramid.gov - Use this site to learn about the food guide pyramid. Figuring Out Food Labels - Learn how to read a food label. Food Labels for Everything - Tons of food labels for commonly eaten foods. Nutrition Cafe - Great information and activities to help you learn about nutrition. Zip4Tweens - Try out the Calculation Station to find out how many calories you should consume. 	Weather from EdHeads - Fun reporting and predicitng of weather - interactive. Weather Wiz Kids - Fun weather site created by a meteorologist.
	Great Plant Escape - Learn about parts of the plant while solving a mystery.
	Endangered Animals Animal Pictures Archive - Find great photos of many different animals. Remember to cite your source. ESpecies - Fact sheets for over 50 species. Enchanted Learning - Information and diagrams for many different animals that are extinct.
